WORKPLACE & INDUSTRY
Generic wellness
programs don't work
on a mine site
Most mental health training is built for offices. It doesn't land with tradespeople, shift workers, or anyone who'd rather get on with it than sit through a slide presentation. Grace's programs are different, because she's been in these environments herself.

WHY GRACE
She's not just talking about it. She's been in it.
"I know what it's like to work in places where asking for help is seen as weakness. That's exactly why this work matters."
Grace Britton is a Registered Psychologist and former full-time member of the Australian Army. Before her psychology career she served in the Defence Force, giving her a credibility and cultural understanding that no amount of corporate training can replicate. She now works extensively with Defence members, first responders, and high-pressure industries.

That background means she can walk into a toolbox talk, read the room, and deliver content that lands — with crews who'd normally tune out anything that felt soft or out of touch.
INDUSTRIES
Who we work with
Grace's programs are built for high-pressure, blue-collar environments where people are expected to get on with it, and mental health rarely gets the attention it deserves.
Mining & Resources
FIFO and remote sites welcome. Grace understands the unique pressures of extended rosters, isolation, and the culture of toughness that can get in the way of help-seeking.
Rail, Freight & Transport
Including Pacific National and similar operators. Shift-based workforces with high exposure to critical incidents and fatigue-related psychological risk.
Corrections & Custodial
Grace understands the psychological demands placed on officers and the culture that makes help-seeking difficult.
Defence & Emergency Services
Military, police, fire, and paramedic organisations. Grace's Army background gives her credibility and cultural understanding in these environments.
Construction & Infrastructure
Tradies, site managers, and project crews. Grace's direct, no-nonsense delivery style works where more corporate approaches don't.
Agriculture & Other Sectors
Not limited to the above. If your workforce operates in a high-pressure, male-dominated environment, Grace can tailor a program for you.
WHS OBLIGATIONS
Psychosocial safety is now a legal requirement
Under Australian WHS legislation, employers have a duty to manage psychosocial hazards in the workplace, just as they would physical ones. MindAction's programs are designed to help you meet that obligation in a way that actually works, not just ticks a box.
-
Risk identification — understanding where psychosocial hazards exist in your specific work environment.
-
Practical controls — training and systems that reduce risk and build workforce resilience.
-
Defensible documentation — a paper trail that demonstrates your duty of care is being met.
-
Tailored to your site — not a generic program, but one scoped to your specific workforce and hazard profile.
